Payment Options

The following payment options are available, with Direct Bank Deposit being the preferred payment method.  If using Direct Bank Deposit your payment must be received within 2 days otherwise your order will be cancelled.

Those paying by Credit Card or Direct Bank Deposit do not need to have a PayPal account.

Shipping within Australia

All orders within Australia are shipped via Australia Post.  Orders are generally dispatched within one to two business days after the funds are received.  Urgent dispatch can be arranged if you contact us prior to purchase.  All items come with the option of a tracked postage method (Tracked Post or Express Tracked).  If you have selected a tracked postage method a tracking number will generally be provided to you once the item has been shipped so that you can track its progress on the Australia Post website.

Be extra alert when accepting the parcel from the courierIf the outer packing is damaged or tampered with, you must verify the items quality and quantity with the invoice before accepting the package from the courier agency.  In case of any discrepancy, either refuse to accept delivery or accept delivery only after putting a suitable remark on the proof of delivery.  Also lodge a proper complaint with the local office of the courier agency so that we may pursue them.

Shipping outside of Australia

Those requiring international shipping should contact us to place a manual order and we can then provide you with the international shipping options.

For all countries except Australia, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once your package reaches your country.  We do not collect duties and taxes and cannot advise what your particular charges may be.  If you do incur these additional charges, they must be rendered in order for your package to clear customs.  For more information regarding your respective country’s customs policy please contact your local customs office.

Colour, Photo & Description disclaimer

The details of the products or product specifications (for instance colour, handwork details, size, etc.) quoted with the product are only approximate values.

The vast majority of the saree photos on this website are generic stock images that are supplied by the saree manufacturers, and these stock images are marked with the words “Picture for reference purpose only”.  Stock images can sometimes have minor differences to the actual saree such a slightly different colour shade or a slight variation in the pattern.

While every endeavour has been made to accurately reproduce colours, there may be minor variations in colour of the actual product due to the nature of fabric dyes, weather at the time of dying and differences in display output due to lighting and digital photography and colour settings and capabilities of electronic device monitors.

Customers who order online need to be aware that colours seen on a monitor will be slightly different as compared to the actual outfits or accessories ordered.  Notwithstanding the above or any other provision, we are under no obligation to accept any returns or provide any replacements or exchange or store credit.

Item not being available

If an ordered item is not available for shipping then the customer will be requested to select an alternate item(s), or if no alternate selection is desired by the customer then a refund will be promptly arranged for the unavailable goods or services.

Cancellation Policy

The customer can cancel the order within 24 hours from the time of placing the order provided that the order has not already been packed for shipping or that the creation of your item has not already been commenced.  Beyond 24 hours cancellation will be at our sole discretion.

If your request for cancellation has been accepted, we will initiate a refund within 48 hours of the cancellation being accepted by us. However, for having the money transferred back to the source of the transaction it may take up to 7 – 10 business days for the respective financial institutions to process the refund. We will also deduct any fees incurred by us in processing your request for a refund.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Change of mind after purchase will not entitle you for any refund or exchange as per Australian consumer law.

If you believe you have received the wrong item then you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt and we will then be in touch with you to verify what item you have received.  When it has been confirmed that you have been sent the wrong item then you have 2 options:

  • Option (1): return the wrong item to us by pre-paid post and when we receive the item you can choose to either: receive a full refund of the original purchase cost, or you can choose to have the correct item shipped to you if it is still available for purchase at no extra cost to you, or
  • Option (2): you may keep the wrong item for a mutually agreed partial refund.

If you believe you have received an item that has a manufacturing defect then you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt and we will then be in touch with you to verify the exact details of the defect.  Please be aware that due to the nature of the manufacturing process for such products that some minor imperfections in the fabric and design are commonly present and do not impact on the sarees visual appeal when worn.  In such instances no returns or refunds will be accepted.  If we determine that the item has a major manufacturing defect then you have 2 options:

  • Option (1): return the item to us by pre-paid post and when we receive the item you will receive a full refund of the original purchase cost, or
  • Option (2): you may keep the item for a mutually agreed partial refund.

The following conditions apply to items that are being returned:

  • An item which may need to be returned must be discussed with us within 24 hours of you receiving the item.
  • The items must be UNUSED.
  • The items must have the original price tags and labels in place.
  • We would  like to have the original packaging returned.
  • It is advised that the returned items should be strongly and adequately packaged so that there is no further damage of goods in transit
